Len Vlahos is the author of three young adult novels: The Scar Boys (Lerner Publications), a finalist for the American Library Association's 2014 Morris Award for best debut teen fiction; its sequel, Scar Girl (Lerner Publications); and Life in a Fishbowl, (Bloomsbury), which published in the U.S. in January 2017 and has been translated into 11 languages. Kirkus Reviews called his most recent novel, Hard Wired (Bloomsbury), "a Salinger-esque criticism of the human world's myopic cruelty" that is "instantly memorable, compulsively readable." It's the story of teenage Quinn, who unravels a nightmare to discover he's not a boy at all, but an artificial Intelligence.
