Epic Photo Ops: Get a Pro Photo of You with Your Favorite Celebrities

by | May 18, 2018

Pre-orders for Epic Photo Ops are now open! Click on the button above to purchase and schedule your photo shoot now! Photos with the biggest celebrities can sell out!

Have you ever dreamed of having a professional photo taken of you (and maybe a family member, or your best friends) with your favorite film and TV celebrities?

We have good news. Each year we enlist the help of our amazing partner Epic Photo Ops to provide exactly this opportunity for you.

Like in years past, Epic will be located in the Celebrity Summit Attraction Area, where they will have several professional-grade photo shoot booths setup.

You can sign-up and schedule your shoot either before or during the convention, to get your photo taken with one or more of the stars in the Summit this year. However, some of the more popular ops will sell out before the con, so it’s best to plan ahead and buy online before you go.

We’re talking about celebrities like David Tennant, Matt Smith, Billie Piper, KJ Apa, David Harbour, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Pom Klementieff, Alan Tudyk ― and many more.

In fact, we expect 2018 to be our biggest year yet in the Summit, with more than 40 stars in attendance. Visit the official Denver Pop Culture Con Guest Page for a complete, up-to-date list.

Pro Tip: You can sign-up, schedule and pay for professional celebrity photos BEFORE the start of the con. By pre-ordering, you are guaranteed to get a spot, plus the convenience of scheduling it to work best with your schedule on the day(s) you’re attending. Pre-orders for EPIC Photo Ops open on Wednesday, May 23 at 10 a.m. MT!

Need more details? The FAQ below will answer many of the questions we receive the most. But, if there is still something you need answered, please don’t hesitate to send email to info@popcultureclassroom.org. We’re here to help!

See you at the Summit!

What Are Epic Photo Ops?

Epic Photo Ops is the company we partner with each year to give you (and up to four other people per photo op) the opportunity to get professional-grade photos with the stars in Celebrity Summit for an additional fee. Epic manages the entire process, including allowing you to purchase and schedule your photo shoot in advance, which we highly recommend. This year Epic pre-orders will open on Wednesday, May 23, at 10 a.m. MT. For more information you can also visit the FAQ on the Epic Photos Ops website.

When Will Epic Photo Ops Begin Taking Pre-Orders?

Epic pre-orders will open on Wednesday, May 23, at 10 a.m. MT. Watch the Celebrity Summit Attraction Page and our social channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) for the official announcement that pre-orders have begun.

Do I Have to Buy/Schedule My Epic Photo Op in Advance?

No, you will be able to purchase and schedule your photo shoot onsite in Celebrity Summit when you’re onsite at the conference. However, by buying and scheduling in advance, you ensure there’s no risk of missing out on a photo with your favorite celebrity and you can schedule it to work best with your overall schedule at the con. The most popular guests will likely sell out in advance, so it’s good to plan ahead.

How Much Do Epic Photo Ops Cost?

Pricing varies based on the celebrity and whether you’re taking a photo with multiple celebrities at once. The official pricing and the list of celebrity photo team ups will be posted on a dedicated Denver Pop Culture Con page on Epic Photo Ops website once pre-orders begin.

Can I Take a Photo with Multiple Celebrities?

Yes. Certain celebrity team up photo opportunities will be made available. Note that these opportunities may cost extra. The official pricing and the list of celebrity photo team ups will be posted on a dedicated Denver Pop Culture Con page on Epic Photo Ops website once pre-orders begin.

Can My Friends or Family Members Be in the Photo Too?

Yes. Up to three additional people can pose with you in your photo shoot for the same price. So, a total of four people, including you, can be in the shot.

What Do I Do After I’ve Scheduled a Celebrity Photo Shoot?

About 15 minutes before your photo shoot is scheduled to begin, you should arrive at the Epic Photo Ops booth that will be in Celebrity Summit. It’s a big setup, so you can’t miss it.

Please avoid arriving more than 30 minutes before, however, because it creates more traffic and slows down the overall process. The lines move quickly, so getting there an hour in advance just means you will have to stand for an extra hour, and not in the line.

After you sign in at the Epic booth, a representative from Epic will assist you in entering one of the photo studio booths set up in the Summit at your scheduled time.

After the shoot is complete, you will receive a high-quality print of the photo. You can opt for an extra charge for a downloadable JPG version on the Epic website.

It says that up to 4 people can be in the photo with you for the same price. But do the additional people have to pay the photo price as well?

    Reply
    • Tara

Nathan, for one photo op price, you may have 4 people in the photo. They do not all have to pay the fee.

      Reply
    • John

No. It’s just the one price. Say the photo op is $100. That’s all you pay. $100 one time. Not each person. You can have your friends split the cost so it’s cheaper for you

      Reply
      • Tara

That’s correct. You pay once, 4 people can be in it, you can split it if you’d like.

If we don’t buy a photo op, can we still take a photo on our cell home with the celebrities? Like the people standing in line want autographs, can I just take a picture myself with them instead?

    Reply
    • Tara

Madeline, the best answer I can give you is typically not. Some celebrities allow for table selfies, but we don’t know that information beforehand, so your best bet is to ask their line attendant in Celebrity Summit. Even then, they usually charge a fee. If you’d really like a photo with someone, should probably purchase a professional photo op. If you’re looking to make the price more reasonable, find 3 friends to split it with. You can have up to 4 people per photo op for just one photo op fee.

    Greetings
I am a photography student currently enrolled at Pikes Peak Community College. My name is John David Gochis. This Summer I will be enrolled in an Events and Weddings Class here at P.P.C.C. and assignments have been given to contact events happening in the Colorado area and offer my services to attend your event and offer promotional pictures in return for allowing me to photograph your event I will be graded on these photos, so rest assured I would do the job with professionalism. I carry a 4.0 grade point average and was selected the outstanding student of the Photography department for Spring semester 2018. Of course, I would buy my own ticket and there would be no cost to you whatsoever, and in the process, you would be helping me further my education. Thank you in advance for any consideration.

If I purchase a photo op, can I get and pay for a signature at the same time? Beats having to wait in two lines if I’m meeting them already…

    Reply
    • Brian

They typically run the photo op lines very quickly…come in, pose, 1-2-3, exit to the left. No opportunity to get a signature there, or really even chat with the celeb. Autographs are done back at their tables in Celebrity Summit.

How much is the photo shoot and is it different from the photo op?

    Reply
    • Tara

Delaney, I’m not sure what you mean exactly. The only photo opportunity we provide in Celebrity Summit are the professional photo ops done through Epic Photo Ops. We have cosplay photo meet ups in Cosplay Canyon, but those are free and don’t include celebrities or other Denver Pop Culture Con guests.

Are refunds available if we purchase ahead of time? In the past we have bought photo ops in advance but when we got to Denver Pop Culture Con 2 separate celebrities we wanted photos with were scheduled around the same time so we couldn’t go to one of them.

Last year there was a limit of 4, but we were permitted to have our family of 5 in the photo since our daughter was in our arms. Will it be the same this year, or will there have to be a second photo bought for our children to be in it?
