Scott Kolins

Bio

Flash fans unite - comics artist Scott Kolins comes to DPCC2020 for the first time! Throughout most of the 90s, Kolins split his time between Marvel and DC (with a few issues for Neal Adams’ Continuity Comics sprinkled in), but then settled at DC in 1999, with Legion of Superheroes. Following a successful run on The Flash (where he was a 2003 nominee of the Wizard Fan Awards 'Favorite Breakout Talent' for his work on The Flash and rave reviews from fans), Green Lantern, Superboy, and Wonder Woman, Scott illustrated numerous comic books for Marvel, including Alpha Flight, Excalibur, The Amazing Spider-Man, The Thing, The Avengers, She-Hulk, Wolverine, the Fantastic Four, and more. In the 2010s, Kolins focused again on a variety of DC titles, including long stretches on Countdown, Solomon Grundy, Superman/Batman, DCU:Legacies, Justice Society of America, Legion of Super-Heroes, Larfleeze, Blue Beetle, and back around to The Flash, once again – where he and writer Geoff Johns are talking about a return of the Speed Force in Issue #750! https://twitter.com/thedcnation/status/1233479778612793344
